Tel Aviv Blogger Party - May Edition
2007-05-06 by Yohay
Another Jewish holiday, another blogger gettogether at this Shavuot holiday.
May 23rd 2007, from 20:30, at Carmel’s house.
Address: Prague 4, Apartment 2 (ground floor), Tel Aviv.
If you’re driving, entrance is only via Ben Yehuda street.

Bring: Any beverage or snack.
Agenda: None.
Already wrote about it (and coming of course): Sharon, Hannit. (Hebrew links)
More people have confirmed in the responses to these posts.
Except the Good neighbors blog, Carmel also writes in Hebrew here and here.
I would love to see some Israeli bloggers that write in English in this party.
It will be fun! Come along and confirm either here or in the others’ posts.

w00t! the more the merrier!
Yup.
I hope that a couple of English language bloggers, who are also friends of Carmel, will come along, and will cause others to join.
Welp, I’m not and English language blogger, but i hope that I’m invited as well. It’ll be two days after the 2007 homebrewing beer competition, and two days before my famous-huge-trip to Nazareth, which means that my calender is officially closed and booked for that week
Ach. I remember time when i used to be young and spontaneous.. :]
Lucky you. The blogger friends I know live far and wide, and in different countries too (hemhem)! But, I will remember Shavuot as that is the day when my husband I will celebrate our 10yr wedding anniversary. Btw..what does Shavuot stand for?
Pardon the ignorance..
Ingrid
Neiman, sure you’re invited. I’m curious to meet you.
I put up a post in English, so that the English-language bloggers that live here will see it and join.
Don’t make so many plans - then you can be more spontaneous…
Ingrid, well you can’t easily meet with your blogger friends worldwide, but you sure get to meet (via the web) very diverse people…
Mazal Tov for your anniversary. 10 is a round number.
Shavuot stands for the day of accepting the Torah in Mount Sinai, and in ancient times it was an agricultural holiday. In modern Israel, it’s a holiday where dairy products are eaten (lots of cheese), and wine accompanies it nicely. For me, it’s a day and a half off work…
More about Shavuot.
Hi Yohay , we have a problem,
Your site has been blocked by the IT at my work (bustards!).
(for the meantime i have how to browse)
Did you change anything here in the last 24h, that would awake the devils?
Nope, I haven’t changed anything here. I don’t know why the big brothers have blocked my humble site…
i think i have to take a walk to the IT floor, and have a nice chat with the guys, and try to explain to them why this might be their last day of sunshine…
it’s funny, because only your site has been blocked…
